Carmel Nut Bars and Vintage look quilt

I made these for a relief society party last night.
This is a quilt I made. It reminds me of those little vintage hankies. Might be cute on my kitchen table...if I had one!

Bull's Eye quilt

Love this pattern. I am making this for my son Clint and his fiancee Gina. She loves the bright modern look. I'll add more pics as I go along. Here's the cute couple! They are to be married May 28.

Blueberrry Muffin Breakfast

Here are the yummy blueberry muffins that some friends and I had for a brunch. They look like they came from a food magazine.
The Recipe..
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs, 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup oil.
  3. In another bowl whisk 2 cups flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 T. baking powder, 1 t. salt.
  4. Dump the dry ingredients into the wet and stir very little...just enough to barely mix together. There should be some of the flour still in the bowl.
  5. Place in a greased muffin tin.
  6. Place frozen blueberries on top of the muffins and just push them into the muffins with your fingers.
  7. Throw into the oven for around 17 minutes.
  8. Enjoy with real butter and a tall glass of cold milk.

Some of the lovely birthday gifts from friends!

Something wonderful for the garden.
There were three of these macaroon cookies. Wonder where the third one went to? Why are you looking at me! I didn't do it! Well, maybe I did. Oh all right! Might I say that it was really, really good!
